SDSU's First and Finest
Founded in 1949, the Beta Rho Chapter of Kappa Delta is San Diego State University's first sorority. Over the past 50 years, we have grown in strength and numbers, from a handful of ambitious young women to over a two hundred returning members in the fall of 2007. Our members are women from diverse backgrounds, even from other nations, who are athletes, scholars, musicians, artists, philanthropists and more--all united by our sisterhood and the high ideals of Kappa Delta
Among our proudest
achievements: San Diego State Award for Outstanding Alumnae relations,
being recognized as a Golden Laurel Chapter (which is the top 90% of
chapters nation-wide), winning the Dean's Trophy for Chapter Excellence
two years in a row, winning Greek Week three years in a row, donating
over 5,000 dollars to Kappa Delta's philanthropies, and a history of
awards for President of the Year and Risk Management and Social
